- Walk in, call or bookYou do not need to see a GP first. GP surgeries and NHS 111 can also send you to us.
- Talk to a pharmacistIn a private room. They will ask about your symptoms and may do a quick check.
- Get treatment or adviceIf you need medicine, we can usually give it to you there and then.
- We update your GPWe let your GP surgery know you have been seen.
Does it cost anything? The consultation is free. If you are given medicine, the usual NHS prescription charge applies unless you get free prescriptions.
When to get urgent help
Pharmacy First is for common, non-urgent conditions. Call 999 or go to A&E if you or your child has difficulty breathing, chest pain, a rash that does not fade when pressed with a glass, or is very unwell. For urgent advice, call NHS 111.
