Free blood pressure checks in Clapham
Around 1 in 3 adults in the UK have high blood pressure, and many don't know it. A quick, free check with our pharmacist can help catch it early.
Who can get a free check?
- Adults aged 40 or over who haven't had their blood pressure checked in the last 6 months
- Adults aged 35 to 39 with a family history or increased risk of heart disease may also be eligible
- You don't need to see a GP first
If you already have a diagnosis of high blood pressure, please continue to be monitored by your GP – but we're always happy to give advice.
What to expect
- The check takes around 10–15 minutes in our private consultation room
- We'll explain your reading and what it means
- If your reading is high, we may offer 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring at home, where clinically appropriate
- We'll share results with your GP if you need follow-up
