Medication packs & care homes

Medicines made simpler – for patients, families and care homes

Our medication packs sort your medicines by day and time, so it is easy to take the right dose. We also support care homes, care providers and GP practices across Clapham.

Medication packs (MDS)

If you take several medicines, it can be hard to remember what to take and when. A monitored dosage system (MDS) is a sealed pack with your medicines sorted into sections for each day and time.

It can help if you

  • Take a number of different medicines every day
  • Find it hard to remember doses, or have memory problems
  • Have poor eyesight, or find bottles and boxes hard to open
  • Look after a family member and help with their medicines

A pack is not suitable for every medicine or every person. Our pharmacist will check what is best for you – sometimes reminder charts, large-print labels or easy-open lids work better.

How it works

  2. Pharmacist checkWe check your medicines and whether a pack is right for you.
  3. We manage repeatsWe order your repeat prescriptions with your GP surgery.
  4. Collect or deliveryCollect from the pharmacy, or ask about home delivery.
