Urinary tract infection (UTI) treatment in Clapham
Urinary tract infections are very common and usually easy to treat. If you are a woman aged 16 to 64, our pharmacist can assess your symptoms and supply antibiotics if you need them.

Common symptoms
- Pain or a burning feeling when you pee
- Needing to pee more often or more urgently than usual
- Cloudy pee
- Pain low down in your tummy
- Feeling generally unwell, achy or tired
How we can help
- A private chat about your symptoms
- Antibiotics, if you need them
- Advice on easing symptoms and preventing it coming back
The pharmacist will decide what is right for you. Not everyone needs medicine, and some people may need to see a GP instead.
Things you can try at home
- Drink plenty of water
- Take paracetamol to ease pain, if suitable
- Rest
- Avoid sex until you feel better
Get urgent help if
- A high temperature, shivering or shaking
- Pain in your back or side, under your ribs
- Feeling sick or being sick
- Confusion or feeling very unwell
- You are pregnant, or you are a man with UTI symptoms – please speak to your GP
